As we speak, I am almost certainly doing one of three things: writing, playing guitar, or walking outside barefoot, tending to my gardens.

There's a lot buzzing around my brain. It tends to come out best in writing. Skylark was born from a need to explore my own experiences with grief and loss. If you're here from Instagram, Ben & Annelise came from that same place, maybe from a different direction.

I think, though, you'll see at the heart of all my work, the North Star always points to hope, family, friendship, and moving forward.
